HOW TO TURN YOUR SETBACK INTO A COMEBACK

A setback is an unexpected change from better to worse, a disappointment, a reversal.
Have you recently experienced a setback in your family, or in your personal life, in your physical body, at work, in a relationship, loss of a loved one, in your finances, in your relationship with God — and it’s begun to make you worry and wonder where God is – and if you will ever recover…I have a word for you.
God in his mercy is turning your setback into a come back.
King David experienced a terrible setback in his family. David’s daughter Tamar is seduced and raped by one of David’s sons, Ammon, who is then murdered by another son, Absalom, to take revenge.
As a result Absalom is banished from the kingdom. So David lost a son to murder, had a horrendous thing happen to his daughter, and then his beloved, yet murderous Absalom is banished from the kingdom because as King, though he loved his son, he was charged to uphold the law. That’s where this entire world was before God sent Jesus. We were banished from a loving yet just and holy God because we all have broken the law.
NOW,HOW DO YOU TURN YOUR SETBACK INTO A COMEBACK?

Redefine what failure means to you.
Intellectually we know that our mistakes yield the opportunities and insights we need to ultimately succeed in life. So when rejections come, or the boss says no, or you lose the financing, house, or whatever it is that you wanted, slow down and notice what isn’t working. Stop focusing on all the ways you’re screwed, and start thinking about the information that failure offers. It’s usually telling us to find a new way, or to redirect our energies.

Learn to accept your mistakes and don't blame God for what you are going through.
It can be challenging to accept that we've made mistakes, especially if we're coming from a perfectionist background where "excellence" is confused with "never making a mistake." Making a mistake is also sometimes different from failure; failure is a result of not succeeding at a conscious effort, but mistakes can be unconscious. You have made mistakes, accept that fact. Many times when things go wrong in our lives, especially if we think we have been doing well (at least by our own standards) we tend to blame God or other.that's very wrong, accept the responsibility that you made mistakes.
Experience disappointment, but don’t wallow in it.
Of course it hurts when our dreams get derailed. Allow yourself to experience the frustration and disappointment that comes with failure, then get up and get going again. Don’t deny your emotions, but make sure that you also come up with another avenue, activity, or interest to pursue so you don’t get stuck in the despair.
Detach yourself from pity party and focus on the process.
We can become so attached to people who will pity us that we feel lost and devastated when we don’t get that one result, but how can we when you are moving with the wrong people?. If there is only one way to succeed, then disappointment will inevitably loom. Focus instead on the process: What is it that is driving you toward your desired outcome? What are your passions and values? Are the steps you’re taking toward your goal in line with those things? If you are growing and learning and living close to people that have values and passions all along the way, any outcome you achieve will feel worthwhile—even if it is not your ideal because you have people with value around you who will counsel you.
Get Out Of Your Head
Take a  break (longer if required) and re-group. You may require a fair bit longer depending on the severity of the situation. But here is why you do it. You have to separate yourself from the situation or set of circumstances. Ultimately, who you are can never be defined by your current situation or by any setback. You have to take a step back and see that you are so much more that anything that might happen to you in this world.
Fast and pray
Sometimes, all you need is to look yourself up somewhere. If you can fast and pray too seek the face of God atleast for a week or months,God will reveal what went wrong and the solution you need. All you need is an instruction.

7 DANGEROUS DREAMS YOU MUST PRAY AGAINST

Dream is a natural, but some are supernatural. In spiritual world when sleeping, this can occur at any time. (Daniel 2:28-29); some dreams belong to God and some belong to the devils. Except for he dreams that are caused by man’s own physiology mind, the rest are supernatural. Dream is the first will for mankind from ages; it is confidential way for supernatural.
Three types of dreams

1. DREAM OF GOD: - Dream from God always make people normal, peaceful stable, reasonable and sensible. (Genesis 37:2-

2. DREAM OF DEVIL SPIRITS: - How can we know this evil spirit dream and their error in our dream? Devil spirits are invisible being, the physical eye can’t see them yet they are real like human beings, more wicked than man.

3. DREAMS OF FLESH:- This is also known as dream of body, how can we know this? Evil spirits know mankind weakness and so they use this opportunity to afflict the generation of Adam with flesh dream. The flesh dream is between evil spirits and man’s lust reviled of one line spirit controls the empty mind of man is carnal things through lust pictures songs, video and lust words, you can be fasting and at the same time eating in the dream having sex in the dream because of the mind had been so passive to the things of the world, flesh dream can come into two from good and bad it depend on the passivity of the mind of the person.

FACTS ABOUT DREAMS:
We Have Nothing To Fear Because God Has Promised Us Protection Against Nightmares. Our First And Surest Defense Against Nightmares Is To Pray Against Them!
Psalm 34:4 I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
Matthew 18:18a Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven.
Psalm 4:8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for Thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety.
Psalm 91:5a,6a Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night … 6a Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness.
Proverbs 3:24 When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.
2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
7 DREAMS YOU MUST PRAY AGAINST
1. If you are in the dark with great stress , it means difficult times ahead, ignorance, spiritual blindness, confusion, hidden agenda, unknown course of action.
2. When you are forcefully injected in your night dream by a strange person, it means an introduction of sickness into your body.
3. Your hair scrapped in the dream or you see strange personality barbing your hair, it is a fade of Glory and fortune, it is an attack against your destiny.
4. Playing with pepper, or to hawk pepper in the night dream is very bad, it means poverty, struggling without result, regrets.
5. When you see corpses, you should know that it is not a pleasant dream, it is an arrow of sudden death.
6. To dream of being hit by a bullet in your night dream is something that you should take seriously, it is an arrow of death, and it is a bad sign that affliction is near.
7. If you are pregnant and you see blood, it connotes miscarriage.
Dreams can also come as a result of too much activities during the day, but the truth is that we will add more value to our lives, if we can sit down and analyse all our dreams and pray to reverse or cancel evil dreams. We must not forget to go for higher counselling while dealing with satanic dreams.
There is more to interpretations of night dreams, all these interpretations depend largely on the circumstances surrounding what happened before, during and after a particular night dream.
It is a wide topic. We need to do more spiritual research on how to get more interpretations to our night dreams, it is important to pray an enquiry prayer, ask questions, then seek the face of God, tell God to speak to you in the language you will understand.
It is dangerous to ignore bad dreams, do something about those evil dreams now. You should also know that when you keep dreaming the same dream over and over again, i mean the dream keeps on repeating itself, it means you need to do something about it urgently, before it is too late.
Pray these prayers
1. Satanic dreams standing against my progress, die by fire in Jesus name
2.Satanic dreams that has brought pollution to my life and destiny, clear away by fire in Jesus name
God bless you
3.Every dream pollution affecting my glory,be washed off by the blood of Jesus

DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME AND DESTINY

Apostle Soji John

A young man in his mid thirties walked up to me because I have known him  for over 35yrs ago. When he was younger, at his teens he was very intelligent. He did well in his primary and secondary school.
Unfortunately, close to to when was almost rounding off his secondary education, he joined himself to dubious dropouts in school who refused to attend classes when school was in session.
In few months, he started to depreciate in knowledge, and when he stepped into my office, looking at him, you wouldn’t want to associate with him because from his head to his feet, he looked sick. He has so much emaciated that you could see his skeletal frame.
Listen dear reader, just like this young man, you think you will always have the time? No sir. You think the seasons of life you are in now will continue like that forever? No
This young man was dying of tuberculosis and my heart cried for him.He had wasted his time, the opportunities he got, the resources made at his disposal both by God and man. He became a waste, living a wasted life that nobody wanted to identify with.
Dear reader,I am writing this with a sense of urgency, don’t waste your time .for those of us that are getting older by the day, we can do something about our lives, This is the time you can work. Understand that time waits for no man.
What you do with your time determines the good success or failure you will have.”That you mayest have good success and make thy way prosperous” Joshua 1 ;8.”That thou” means someone who will dare use his time maximally will have good success and make his or her way prosperous
A minute gone into history cannot be recalled back, that is why you must be smart with time.Dont associate with time wasters. If you marry a time waster, pray for him or her until she repents or he or she will distract you from becoming an achiever in life.
Time wasters must carefully be watched out for.The actions of time wasters is illustrated as an ant at work that slowly eats away and carries off all its bounties.it may take long while, but surely completes the task of depleting the stock, so time wasters must not be tolerated as their actions will eventually lead to regrets.
Look, God doesn’t invest in time wasters, neither does God multiply or increase time wasters.
What do you do with your time?

If you joke with your morning, you joke with your future. Those who joke with their morning mourn at night.
If you play in the morning, you will pay at night. It is better you pay now so that you can enjoy your future.
Anyone you have in your life or around you, who does not observe or have respect for time, you must separate from them because such people don’t work with time, neither do they respect your time , as they do not know the significance of time nor what time represents. If you want to be successful, make good use of time because time works with opportunities and opportunities work with time.
Successful people understand this because they do not joke with time that is why it is time that them successful.

FORGIVENESS:THE STEP TO EMOTIONAL HEALING

Forgiveness is the intentional and voluntary process by which a victim undergoes a change in feelings and attitude regarding an offense, lets go of negative emotions such as vengefulness, with an increased ability to wish the offender well. When you forgive someone, you make the choice to give up your desire For revenge and feelings of resentment. You also stop judging the person who caused you the hurt.Instead of revenge, resentment, and judgment, you show compassion, and kindness.
Unforgiveness is not like that.it is a spiritual cancer that spreads slowly until it incapacitate the spirit, soul and body and may lead to untimely death of d person.it is contagious.unforgiveness gradually leads to anger, hatred and bitterness, until d person becomes a witch or wizard.if u don't obey God's word concerning forgiving those that have hurt u,it is rebellion against God's word, and rebellion is as d sin of witchcraft,so u r a witch.forgive and move on,don't dwell in d hurt of the past because unforgivness is a spiritual killer disease.

STEPS TO EMOTIONAL HEALING
A wound is so painful that we develop a case of amnesia, that is why if anyone has offended you in the past, forgive and move on.
Before we begin, I want you to know that God desires to heal our wounds and take our pain and hurt from us. You know how you can love somebody so much, that you wish you could take their pain or suffering from them? That's how Jesus feels about us... He loves us so much that He paid the price for our emotional healing in the work on the cross!
first and moremost:
The first step is to ACKNOWLEDGE the need for healing. For us to receive the healing of emotional wounds, we must first acknowledge that we are hurting (Matthew 9:10-13, Revelation 3:17). Many of us have lied to ourselves as well as to others.
The second step is to LOCATE the cause of the pain. In the physical realm, we may have a pain in our legs, but the cause may be a pinched nerve in the spine. To operate on the legs would be the wrong procedure so locating the emotional wound is the next step.
The third step is to CLEANSE the wound. For cleansing to occur, (1) we must forgive those who have offended us, (2) ask God for to forgive and cleanse us (I John 1:9) for our unforgiveness, (3) yield that area unto the Lord, (4) request that God restore our soul (Psalm 23:3) in the area yielded to the enemy, and (5) use the name of Jesus to drive out the enemy.
The fourth step is to RECEIVE HEALING of the hurt. God gives us two distinct pictures of healing in Scripture.
After the physician cleanses the victim's wound, he sews it up so that it will not become contaminated again. Forgiveness opens the door to freedom, but forgiveness is not healing. Without our receiving healing, the wound again becomes contaminated. However, when God mends the wound, He also heals the wound.

We may receive healing by (1) understanding that Jesus suffered all kinds of emotional hurts (Isaiah 53:3) and that he became a hurt substitute (Isaiah 53:4) for us , and (2) believing that Jesus was sent to heal the broken hearted (Luke 4:18), and (3) asking in faith for that healing. When God heals the wound, we may recall the experience without being flooded by the pain.
The fifth step is to STRENGTHEN the weak area. Again, in the physical, the area around the wound may remain weak even after the healing occurs. This is also true of emotional wounds. The enemy will try to get us to focus our thoughts (II Corinthians 10:4-5) on the event that brought the hurt. If this occurs, we may mentally pick at the area until we have opened a new wound.
Therefore, it is critical that we strengthen that area by applying the Word of God. (1) We need to see that God had a purpose in allowing us to be wounded (Genesis. 50:20). (2) We need to see that God can work all things together for our good (Romans 8:28). (3) We need to come to rejoice in the Lord over the experience (Philippians. 4:4). (4) We need to develop and share our testimony with others (Revelation 12:11)

What is in your hands?

Exodus 4:2 "And the LORD said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod.

Many people are unfruitful because they believe they are not qualified to do what God calls them to do! God has given men and women gifts from his great armoury so that God's generosity can flow through you but many people cannot see what they carry because they cannot see
Pharaoh was coming behind and in front of moses and the people was the red sea and moses cried to God.How did God answer? "Moses, what is in your hand?"
For Moses, it was a staff. It wasn't a crown, scepter, or sword. It was a simple stick. And it became one of the greatest supernatural weapons in human history.
So what do you already have in your possession? Speaking ability? Artistic ability? Money? Friendships? All of us have something we can use to accomplish our part in God's work here on earth as we serve one another.
God has not created anyone without something that would bring them to their promised land. He (God) doesn’t make mistakes. There is something that God has placed in your hands to make you great. Many times, we don’t attach much value to what’s in our hands. We always think what we have is not worth anything. Instead we focus our attentions on what God has placed in somebody elses’ hands! The fact that someone may be prospering as a nurse or doctor does not mean that’s the only thing to study. We are not satisfied with the very thing God has placed in our own hands!
There is something in your hands that may appear useless to you but when you believe in yourself and pray,it can bring you into limelight.People are notorious for saying things like: Who knows me? Nobody will take me serious? I only have a high school diploma!
Everything you need to succeed in life is in your hands.
Most of us have made useless what God gave to us. Friends, even if all you can do is “TALK”, then talk and make money from talking if that is what can bring you into limelight! That thing in your hands that you ignore, that seems useless to you, perhaps a dream, might be the VERY THING that would make you great. Those things (or people) you do not cherish, recognize, or honor may be the key to your breakthrough!!!!!
It was the same rod that Moses thought was USELESS that he used to provide water for the Israelites and part the red sea! Something in your hands will take you to your next level. What you have in your hands is enough to turn you into what God wants you to be.

I remain yours

How to shut up: learning to keep quiet

You may be tempted to say out every thought that occurs to you, but sometimes it's best to keep your mouth shut.Great men and great women always keep their mouth shut because it is not time to talk.

The art of silence
Silence can be quite empowering, so by learning the art of silence you will feed your spirit and soul. It's difficult for a lot of people to embrace and experience the value of silence. There is often pressure to fill the atmosphere with words. Being comfortable with silence and your own solitude is useful – it's when we pause that we afford ourselves a space to digest what is being said and to think of a response. We get to listen to not only what is being said, but also what is not being said. Comfort in handling silence lends itself to a confident demeanour.

In relationships
It's hard to decipher between being right and being happy. There are times when pushing to be right can compromise our happiness in relationships. Choose to be quiet if the relationship is more important than just about winning the argument.

If you'll regret it, don't say it
When you have nothing to say, don't spoil your silence by saying something you may end up regreting.
As long as your body language is not communicating something different, feel free to just keep quiet and observe the situation.

 Be compassionate
When someone is in despair and sharing their pain or challenges with you, shut up and listen. If you have to open your mouth, encourage them with words of strength. It is not time for you to steal the limelight just because you have been through the same experience. It doesn't have to be about you all the time, so hold your tongue and acknowledge the other person and their need to vent. By honouring their expression of pain or guilt, they will want to confide in you again in the future.

Nigerian Tribunal Removes Ishaku, Declares Alhassan,First ever elected female as Taraba State Governor

NIGERIA has got its first ever elected female governor after the election appeals tribunal declared Senator Aisha Alhassan of the All Progressives Congress (PDP) as the duly elected governor of Taraba State this morning.

After the April 11 elections, the Independent National Electoral Commission (Inec) of the Federal Republic of Nigeria had declared Darius Ishaku of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) as the winner of the Taraba State governorship contest. However, Senator Alhasan rejected the result and lodged a suit with the election appeals tribunal claiming the polls were marred with irregularities.
In April, Professor Kyari Mohammed, Inec's returning officer in Taraba State, said Mr Ishaku scored 369,318 votes to emerge victorious. He added that Senator Alhassan came second with 275,984 votes, while Chief David Kente of the Social Democratic Party polled 29,966 votes to come third.
Since then, the matter has been pending before the election tribunal with senator Alhassan claiming that the results ascribed to Wukari, Donga, Takum, Sardauna, Zing, Yorro, Kurmi and some parts of Ussa, Karim-Lamido, Bali, Ardo-Kola and Lau local government areas were not acceptable as they did not reflect the true results of the votes cast. This morning, the tribunal agreed with her and sacked Mr Ishaku as governor, declaring Senator Alhassan the duly elected governor.
While the case was pending, Senator Alhassan was nominated with a ministerial position by President Muhammadu Buhari and subsequently was screened and cleared by the Nigerian senate. Following her victory at the tribunal, President Buhari will now have to nominate another minister from Taraba State.

HOW TO GET RESULTS IN LIFE

PST SAM OLUWATOYE

It is frustrating to come into this world and live your life the way you want  and at the end of the day, get nothing out of it.
Some come into this world and died the way they came, and they never made  any impact in life.
See, that is not God’s divine plan for your life. God’s plan for your life, is for you to come and make a mark on earth.
For you to make impacts and get results in this life, your name must be heard. Some people don’t want their names to be seen on newspapers, magazines, and on T V stations, but the truth is that you have no choice. If you are going to be great, people will hear about you. You feel  that  you don’t want your pictures to go around but am sorry to disappoint you because if you must get results, and make impacts in this world, your pictures will be seen whether you like it or not.
Listen, great men always think of what to give and not what to get. For you to get results in life, you must think of what to give and not what to get.
People who don’t get results in life are those who are always collecting and never give, and those that get results, always think of what to give to other, and how to bless others, that is why the bible says that the lesser is blessed by the greater.
When Abraham saw Mechizedec, the bible says that he gave Melchizedec a tithe of all. Abraham was thinking on how to give, and Mechizedec was also thinking of giving to Abraham. Both of them were thinking in terms of what to give.
Somebody wanted to give Abraham something, but Abraham rejected it. He was a great man because his life style was giving and not receiving.
Beloved, it is important to recognize the power of gifts. All my life, I have made it compulsory for myself to give to people. My tithes and my seed offerings.
Great people think in terms of giving. When you visit a friend, or an important person, you must  take something  along with you. He or she doesn’t need what you are bringing; it is your blessings that will come as a result of giving.
Let this be your attitude, discipline yourself to give, even to your pastors. Let grace flow from them to you.
Look at Abraham, he was seeking for a child, God gave him a promise, he didn’t see anything. He was believing God and years after the promise, one day, the bible says three strangers passed by his house, and Abraham entertained them in his house. He didn’t know them, but he could perceive that they were sons of God. The truth is that Abraham had developed the culture of blessing Men of God, so he called the men and served them food. After they ate finish, the men said, “By this time next year, you will have a son”
Imagine if Abraham could not recognize them, he would  have waited for another season again when he doesn’t know when  they will pass, and we  pray he recognizes them.
Learn the power of gifts, and you see, you must be prepared for criticism and hate from people. If you must get results in life, and make great impacts, you must learn to give.
