Nigeria, Ecuador friendship flourished yesterday when the first ambassador of the South American country presented his Letters of Credence to President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa.
The event officially marked the opening of the country’s embassy in Nigeria as well as the beginning of a new dawn in the two countries friendship, which has existed at the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) over the years.
Ambassador Leopoldo Rovayo Verdesoto pledged to strengthen and consolidate the existing fraternal, warm and cordial relations between Ecuador and Nigeria. Almost 12 % of the Ecuadorian population has African heritage. He recalled the cordial ties between the two countries at the OPEC, especially when Nigeria helped Ecuador when its oil pipeline was broken in 1987.
Rovayo used the occasion to extend an invitation to Nigeria to participate in the draft zero of the Declaration of the Africa-South America Forum (ASA Forum) to be held next year just as he recalled the important role played by Nigeria when the Forum was created in 2006 in Abuja. He noted that closer contact and cooperation within the established mechanism of ASA is to be actively promoted and encouraged.
Rovayo also expressed the solidarity of the people and government of Ecuador with Nigeria in the struggle against terrorism. He described Ecuador’s rejection of terrorism as a vital part of its foreign policy; and reiterated Ecuador’s commitment to assist in any way possible in the multilateral forums. The ambassador also offered to assist handicap Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) who survived Boko Haram insurgency through an Ecuadorian programme called “Manuela Espejo.”
Commenting, President Buhari expressed his appreciation for the opening of the embassy in Abuja. He said it would help the two countries to work together to strengthen bilateral

3 Types Of Men Who Will Never Marry You

Post Image
Marriage is a goal for most of us because we want to share our lives with that special man of our own and raise a family together. Unfortunately not all men want to get married. To tell the truth not all women want it either.

But if you want to get married and are currently in a relationship, the following three types of men are probably wasting your time in your pursuit to become a wife.

1. He moved in with you and has no job, car or anything of his own.

Usually this type of man was momma’ed (I know it’s not a real word) forever and neither knows how, nor has the desire to, become self- sufficient.

This man goes from his momma’s house to his woman’s house as long as she is willing to take care of him.

He’s used to never having to work, clean up, or buy anything for himself. He looks for women who will treat him like a king while he sits on your throne, eating your food, using your water and electricity, and playing video games while you are out working.

If you have to take care of him like a child, he is not going to marry you.

2. He never talks about marriage.

When you bring up the subject, he may go along with you to keep you happy. Ask him to set a date and pay attention to his response.

Does he laugh it off or say “let’s talk about it later” or does he just change the subject?

Also be careful because he may try to distract you with s*x. If he wants to marry you, he will propose and/or start talking about it to you. If he doesn’t talk about it, especially after you have been together for years, he is not going to marry you.

3. He has several children with different women, none of whom he married.

If his claim to fame is the number of kids he has, girl run.

Why would you want to be with someone who’s fathered several children with several women yet parents none of them (this should be obvious if he is sitting around on your couch)? You may even have kids by him, but if he doesn’t talk about marriage during or after your pregnancy/pregnancies, chances are he never will.

If bragging about the number of kids he has is his only conversation, he is not going to marry you.

Don’t think for a minute that you can change a man into being what you want. You shouldn’t even want to because that’s manipulation and you wouldn’t want anyone to do that to you.

If you are not in a relationship now, avoid the types of men mentioned above. It would just waste your time because they don’t want to get married. If you are living with one type of man mentioned above, you need to change the situation. You may need to get your own place or put him out of yours.

The more you prolong it, you run the risk of missing out on the man who is for you. Don’t be afraid to be alone or believe that you don’t deserve to be with someone who wants the same things you do.

Think about what is best for you and act accordingly. Your husband is out there, so don’t miss him by wasting time with someone who has no interest in walking down the aisle.

Nigeria Becomes A Member Of Islamic Military Alliance- Aljezera

Aljazeera just some few minuites ago announced that Nigeria has joined a 34 member Islamic military alliance led by Saudi Arabia!
When during the campaigns, an alarm was raised that APC as presently constituted and led by Buhari has a singular agenda of Islamizing Nigeria.
The cardinal question now according to some people who will soon be shouting would be; when was the bill presented, debated and passed at the National Assembly to enable Saint Buhari drag us into this avoidable jihadist army?
Nigeria is a secular state by virtue of the constitution.
During his campaign, Buhari told Nigerians that he has changed from his extremist viewpoint and standpoint.

Nigerians need to protest this. Buahri cannot hand over Nigeria to islamic coalition.
In my own opinion,Muslims in Nigeria are less than 50% of the population.

Chelsea Fc Set To Replace Mourinho

According to the report, the discussion is centered on whether to dismiss the manager immediately or allow him to take charge for Saturday’s Barclays Premier League match against Sunderland.
The Chelsea owner, Roman Abramovich is reluctant to sack Mourinho as the Portuguese has no buy-out clause in his newly signed contract, meaning Mourinho could command a compensation of up to £40million.

It is believed that Abramovich is keeping Mourinho as a result of the lack of realistic replacements.
However, Abramovich is in an emergency meeting with trusted advisors of the club which include: Bruce Buck, Marina Granovskaia, Eugene Tenenbaum and Michael Emenalo at Stamford Bridge.
Reports from some quarter have it that Juande Ramos,a Spanish former footballer and manager with a Ukrainian football club, Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk is a surprise candidate being considered as a potential caretaker manager by Chelsea should the board decide to sack José Mourinho before the end of the season.

THE STEPS THE YOUTHS CAN TAKE TO SAVE A SINKING NATION FROM DYING

STEP 1: Our brightest and best brains should begin serious preparations NOW by forming alliances with each other. The preparations would involve both NETWORKING with like-minds and men of like-passion, and developing ideologies in line with an overall National Blueprint/Master plan.
STEP 2: Move away from the sidelines of political commentary and analyses into mainstream political work by joining/invading political parties (not for everybody though, but for those whose vocation and calling is in politics).
STEP 3: Set up structures that will influence the ideological direction and major policy decisions in such parties.
CASE VIGNETTE:
In 1943, a group of young men (mostly in their 20s and 30s) who felt the African National Congress (ANC) in South Africa had lost its fire, FREQUENTLY MET TO DISCUSS IDEAS. They felt the ANC as a whole had become the preserve of a tired, unmilitant, privileged African elite more concerned with protecting their own rights than those of the masses. The general consensus was that some action must be taken. A YOUTH LEAGUE would be formed, as a way of lighting fire under the leadership of the ANC. To cut the story short, though their proposal was initially resisted, they succeeded in establishing a YOUTH LEAGUE whose manifesto partly read “…The Congress Youth League must be the BRAINS-TRUST and POWER-STATION of the spirit of African nationalism” (Emphasis mine).
Within a few years, the leaders of the Youth League (including Mandela) became executives in the main ANC!
In conclusion, we need the wisdom of the old, but they must bow to our vigour. It’s time for the New Generation to stop seeing themselves as too young to take up political leadership in this country. We must NOW form alliances, join political parties, and begin to TRANSFORM things from WITHIN. We cannot do it without!
