US and China agree on North Korea sanctions resolution

US secretary of states Jon Jerry with Chinese Foreign minister Wang Yi

The United States and China have reached agreement on a UN resolution that would impose tougher sanctions on North Korea as punishment for its latest nuclear test and rocket launch, UN diplomats said Wednesday.

One security council diplomat called the draft resolution "significantly substantive" and expressed hope that it will be adopted in the coming days. Another said the draft had been circulated on Wednesday to the three other permanent council members - Russia, Britain and France.
The Security Council is scheduled to hold closed consultations Thursday evening on compliance with the North Korean sanctions resolutions, and the US-China draft could be discussed then with the 10 non-permanent council members.

European spy to boost intel-sharing on potential terrorists

The Counter Terrorism Group (CGT), a discreet and informal grouping of domestic spy agencies from the European Union countries as well as Norway and Switzerland, aims to create the new platform by July 1.
The November 13 attacks in Paris by terrorists linked to the Islamic State (IS) group prompted renewed calls for greater cross-border intelligence cooperation in Europe, especially after it was revealed that Belgium had information on the perpetrators of the attacks.
But it was far from the first time that the prevention of terrorist acts has been hindered by the lack of information sharing within the EU.
"Terrorist attacks in Europe, like recently in France, have shown time and again that both IS and al Qaeda operate in international networks," the head of Germany's domestic intelligence agency, Hans-Georg Maassen, said in a statement.
Founded in 2002, the Counter Terrorism Group is currently chaired by the Netherlands, which has been tasked with setting up the new intelligence-sharing platform in the first half of 2016.

Inspiring athlete born without legs discovers childhood idol

An athlete born without legs became an inspiring athlete and then discovered that her idol growing up was in fact her biological sister

Jen Bricker was adopted at birth after being born with no legs due to a genetic birth defect.
But despite her potentially debilitating condition the inspirational 27-year-old, who grew up in a house where they never said 'can't,' became a successful gymnast.

Growing up Jen was always drawn to gymnastics and idolised American Olympic gymnast Dominique Moceanu.
And after competing in - and winning- competitions at State level, Jen learned the shocking secret, that Dominique was actually her biological sister.
"Some of my earliest memories are of watching gymnastics on TV when I was six years old and trying to imitate the moves," said Jen.
"Dominique was my favourite gymnast. I wouldn't shut up about her, even at the age of six I fantasised about being related to her."
"When I was 16 I discovered Dominique was actually my sister and I remember thinking these kind of things happen in the movies, this is not real life," she added.

6 dress Style Tips For Young Men

Too many young men are starting their professional lives without a clue as to how to dress.Young men are the future leaders of society, and dressing sharp is the first step towards becoming a professional.

 Dress Your Footwear Up

Starting from the ground up, appropriate-fitting footwear is the first step to dressing sharp.
If you’ve never owned really good shoes before, brace yourself and get ready to pay a significant amount of money for well-made, classic footwear.A good pair of dress shoes will last you years and stay good-looking with nothing more than some light cleaning and the occasional shine.

 Dress to Look Older

The way you dress is the way you are addressed.
If you’re still wearing clothes that scream “student days” you’re going to be treated like a boy with no experience in the real world.

Ignore Fashion Trends.

Most young men don’t have the budget to buy new pants every month or two — so stay away from pants that are only presentable during an “in” season.
Distressed or bleached jeans are a great example; several different designer labels briefly managed to sell the image on the public, and then the fad changed and left a lot of people with very expensive jeans too beat-up to wear in public.

Take Care of Your Clothing.

Generally speaking, being young means having less money to throw around.
If you’ve shelled out for a few pieces of good, quality clothing — a custom suit, a pair of expensive dress shoes, what have you — it’s worth a few bucks more to keep the clothes in good shape.
That means using good hangers for your suits, shoe trees for your shoes, and a little tender loving care with the washing machine.
Some of your clothes can come from thrift shops, if you’re lucky enough to have a reasonably common body type and some well-to-do neighborhoods nearby.
Have at Least One Good Suit in the Closet
 Suit
No matter what your job is, you’re going to need a decent suit at some point. If you’re in a field where you’re going to wear one regularly you should look for a variety of colors and styles; if you just need a single suit for infrequent dress occasions stick with a classic single-breasted, two-button suit in charcoal gray or navy blue.
Replace T-shirts with Polos and Sport Shirts
Wearing T-shirts to the gym or when you are performing house chores is fine.
But wearing T-shirts to social events or to work is a no-no, especially when the shirt is too big and made from a shoddy fabric advertising the company who gave it to you a decade ago.

CNN Announces Ali Modu Sheriff as the Founder of Boko Haram

International media giant, Cable News Network has alleged that the embattled Ali Modu Sheriff is the founder of the rampaging Boko Haram sect that has threatened the security in Nigeria.
CNN reported the appointment of former Borno state governor, Ali Modu Sheriff as Acting Chairman of the People's Democratic Party, PDP in a rather awkward manner describing him as the founder of Boko Haram which the politician has denied severally.
Sheriff has been widely accused of having a close relationship with the late leader of Boko Haram, Mohammed Yusuf during his 8-year tenure as the governor of the war-torn Borno state.
This revelation by CNN may confirm recent claims by Femi Fani Kayode that Sheriff has strong ties to the terrorist group that has killed over 20,000 Nigerians since 2009.
