The making of Easy Taxi

Cardoso was the founding chief executive of online taxi hailing app, Easy Taxi Nigeria, a Rocket Internet-backed startup. While still affiliated with Easy Taxi, he is moving on to new projects. Easy Taxi, under Cardoso’s watch, grew to be one of the most used taxi hailing apps in Lagos and Abuja. It has been a tough year for Cardoso.

 Bankole Cardoso is a Nigerian entrepreneur and co-founder of EasyTaxi Nigeria, a Rocket Internet company that serves to connect cab drivers and would-be passengers.Easy Taxi, under Cardoso’s watch, grew to be one of the most used taxi hailing apps in Lagos and Abuja.  After stepping down as CEO of EasyTaxi Nigeria, he joined the Africa Internet Group as the Global Head of Communications. In 2014, Cardoso was listed by Forbes as one of the 30 Most Promising Young Entrepreneurs in Africa.
