The Mystery of Disobedience

Disobedience is one of the oldest form of sin in the universe, it's the second sin in the whole universe when Mr Adam and Mrs Eve decided to put the will of disobedience in action and you can see the tragic consequence of their disobedience in the world right now as a result of the first cursed and the first personality to curse scenario in the universe. The fact is that disobedience has the capacity to render a life impotent or make a life go in the way of that cruel English word called "redundant". my prayer is that heaven would not term you by that word in the name of Jesus. The disobedience of Jonah almost killed all people on board of that ship heading for Nineveh; meaning someone's disobedience can plunge many destinies to the pit of failure. It was the disobedience of Abraham that brought the Islamic terrorist of today and before now. Disobedience is powerfully wicked so any attempt to accept Mr Disobedience can paralyse a life forever. It was disobedience that made the supposed most powerful prophet in the Old testament become a generations of lepers. It was the same Mr Disobedience that finally drove Pharaoh of Egypt into the red sea. God ordered Saul to kill everything that concerns the Amalekites but Saul thought it best to spare their  king and some healthy animals for sacrifice unto the Lord. Let us see the reply of Samuel in the book of 1 Samuel 15:22-23 " 22 And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. 23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king. Let us now consider some

1. Disobedience means refusal to follow order.

2. Disobedience is inability to obey the law or regulation.

3. Disobedience is going contrary to the authorities.

4. Disobedience is rebellion against the seat of leadership.

5. Disobedience is doing anything to frustrate the directives of a constituted authority.

         Dangers of Disobedience

1. It brings generational curse.

2. It breeds stubborness

3. It puts others in danger.

4. It makes others fall.

5. It makes us a bad example.

6. It brings a negative life

7. It frustrates God's agenda.

8. It makes Heaven advertise our place.

9. It breeds the fruit of generational iniquity.

10. It makes you stink to God.

11. It kills your spiritual eyes.

12. You get more corrupt.

13. It makes you a stubborn person

14. It makes you a witch.

15. You call God a lair

16. It mar your future.

17. It saps your spiritual strength.

18. It gives the devil an occasion to blasphame the Lord.

19. It opens the door for the enemy to operate.

20. It drives your destiny to the pit of failure.

                    Way out

1. Surrender your life to Jesus

2. Be baptised with the Holy Ghost fire

3. Pray against the spirit disobedience

4. Locate and kill your weaknesses

5. Pray for grace to obey God

6. Be humble

7. Always obey before complaining
