The Kaduna Electricity distribution Company has announced
the restoration of power to parts of
Zaria and Kebbi, according to its Facebook page.
In Zaria, this was after the completion of work on the
damaged 33kv Kofar Doka and 33kv Soba lines. Where as in Kebbi, the company
noted that the installation of a 7.5 MVA transformer was over and supply was
restored successfully at the Fadama Injection Substation, Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi
Area Office.
The announcement were made via posts on the
Kaduna Electric Facebook page. The cause of the power outage in Zaria was said
to be due to the destruction caused by a reckless tanker driver.
