About fifteen communities in Oruumba South Council Area in
Anambra South senatorial district ,Nigeria have unanimously given their approval for
Governor Willie Obiano to complete his second tenure in office.
This was even a pro-Obiano group, the Stakeholders for Obiano
Second Tenure, penetrates every nook and cranny of the state to sensitise
Anambra people for the governor’s reelection in November.
The communities gave their approval, on Wednesday, at a town
hall meeting with National Coordinator of the support group, Chief Ekene Enefe,
and they vowed to stand by their belief.
Enefe had told them at the council Secretariat that the
essence of the sensitidation was for them to beware of some money bags
politicians who would soon invade their communities to buy their votes and
consciences which he said might lead to the election of a wrong candidate as
Governor during the election “thereby taking Anambra State back to square one.”
Chief Enefe said for Governor Obiano to have conquered security
challenges alone in Anambra State was enough reason for him to be reelected,
arguing that no meaningful development could take place anywhere without
adequate security of lives and property.
