BREAKING NEWS: Plane crash kills over 200 in Sinai

A Russian airliner has crashed in central Sinai, in Egypt, with about 271 passengers and seven crew members on board.
The office of the Egyptian Prime Minister, while confirming this to the BBC, stated that the Airbus A-321 had just taken off from the Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh, on its way to the Russian city of St. Petersburg.
As at the time of filing this report, it was not clear yet where the plane crashed, as some suggested that it may have disappeared over Cyprus.
Most of the passengers on the plane operated by the Russian airline, Kogalymavia established since 1993, were said to be Russian tourists.
According to CNN reports, 224 passengers and crew were on board the crashed Russian plane, as the Egyptian Prime Minister, Sharif Ismail and the ministers are in an emergency meeting over the incident.
The Egyptian authorities are having a torrid time having access to the suspected crash site because of the mountain-like ruggedness of Sinai.
The plane crashed into central Sinai and the compromise occurred just 23 minutes after it took off.
