How to Handle your In-Laws

Couples that are very wise have a way of handling in laws without allowing them to come between them and at the same time not abandoning them, when in-laws are wisely and carefully handled they will add to the beauty of marriage, but if they are not, it’s result is always that of difficulties and battles.

1: LET THERE BE LEAVING: Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. (Genesis 2:24 KJV)
If there must be peace between you and your in laws, there must be a place of leaving, you must leave your father, mother, siblings physically; you must get your own house and leave the family house. You must leave financially, you must not always go cap in hands to beg your parents for money or supplies. You must leave emotionally, socially etc. (please study the teaching about leaving and cleaving in other volume of this book).

2: LET THERE BE CLEAVING: The next thing you must do to make your family better and handle IN-LAW well is to cleave to your spouse as the scripture commanded, you must be totally joined to your spouse in love and acceptance and leave in peace together, when there is no peace between couple it is easier for the extended family to come between them.

3: BECOME ONE FLESH: “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh”. (Genesis 2:24 KJV)
This means you are to stand in unity, oneness and speak with one voice always, don't ever allow your family to see a gap between both of you by which they can penetrate you and destabilize your home.

4: BE NAKED AND NOT ASHAMED: “And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed” (Genesis 2:25).
Most people do interpret this to be that husband and wife should find it easy to stand naked physically before each other. While this is true, it also means to be totally open to each other in every area of life. If you are able to do this it will be easy to stand in unity and handle your different families together as couple.

5: UNDERSTAND AND ACCEPT THE CULTURE: Most of the time the culture and the custom of the people we marry is quite different from our own, please don't criticize, don't think your own family culture, food, lifestyles is better than that of your spouse, rather try to understand it and blend it into your own family life in as much as it is not unscriptural and ungodly. Learning the lifestyle of the family of the person will really help you, don't just marry the person, marry the culture.

6: WISDOM: In-law relationship is more technical than other relationships, you need to be very wise and tactful, the truth is, in-laws may not love you naturally, you may need to prove yourself and win their hearts. Please handle them with wisdom and understanding if you really want peace in your home

5 things you should never eat before going to bed

You are a little hungry at 11 p.m, and there you are looking for something to nibble until breakfast. You may be right to say a little “midnight snack” never hurt anybody but it will interest you to know exceeding your daily calorie need does.
Eating at night has long been associated with weight gain because people often to go straight to bed without burning the amount of calories they have consumed. These small chops over time compound in the body to cause weight gain and other health complications.

1 Alcohol

bottles
A nightcap may seem like a good idea, but in reality you’ll be messing with the restorative functions of sleep. Even if you do get some rest, it will hardly be the quality sleep that we need to function the next day.

2. Cheeseburger and French Fries

Greasy, heavy foods are obviously high in calories and fat, but they also weigh on your stomach and take a while to digest, leaving you feeling tired and sluggish in the morning. Try to avoid high-fat, greasy foods such as burgers, pizza, and fast-food Chinese. These greasy foods not only make one fat but also cause heart burn.

3.  Pasta and noodles

Pasta is one of the best foods to eat if you’re hungry because a little bit goes a long way. The issue with eating pasta late at night, however, is that it’s such a fatty food that it will almost certainly lead to weight gain while you sleep. The carbohydrates in pasta turn to fat pretty quickly, so if you’re trying to eat healthy at night you’ll definitely want to look elsewhere.

4 Red meat

A big, juicy steak may be delicious, but it’s hardly the best thing to eat right before bed. Red meat will kick your body’s natural processes into overtime and will make it incredibly difficult to get the type of deep sleep that you really need after a hard day at work.

 5. Chocolate
Chocolate
Not only does chocolate have calories and sugar, but it also has caffeine, which may contribute to restless sleep. Chocolate isn’t a filling snack either, so if you’re craving it, you may not necessarily be hungry. Rather, your sweet tooth may be getting to best of you.
If you wouldn’t want to have a cup of coffee and then go to bed, you should leave the chocolate alone for the same reason. Try hot tea or a glass of low-fat chocolate milk.
The golden rule is don’t eat more calories than you can burn.

Nigeria spank Chile to reach knock out stage

Nigeria spank hosts to reach knock out stage
A goal from captain Kelechi Nwakali plus a brace from Victor Osimhen and Samuel Chukwueze brought hosts Chile to their feet as they crashed 5-1 at the Estadio SausalitoVina Del Mar on Wednesday morning.
Although Marcelo Allende got one for the South Americans with nine minutes to the end of the game, that could not inspire a comeback as the rampaging Nigerians have now secured a place in the second round of the competition.
The Chileans came into the game with the outlook of securing their first win of the competition after their 1-1 draw against Croatia on Saturday, but the Eaglets had different idea as Chukwueze fired Emmanuel Amuneke’s side ahead after 30 seconds.
Not quite long – in the 16th minute to be precise, captain Nwakali converted from the spot to double his side’s lead after Chukwueze was fouled by Juan Jose Soriano by sprinting onto a long upfield clearance and tapping the ball past the sliding defender.
In the second half, Nigeria got their third in the 60th through Chukwueze who completed his double. He found his way into the South Americans’ penalty area, performed a couple of footworks and, after seeing an initial shot blocked, thumped a left-footed strike past goalkeeper  Lopez.
Osimhen got his first via the penalty spot after dangerboy Chukwueze was brought down again by Brian Leiva. Despite Funsho Bamgboye’s red card, he powered in his brace.
Chile's consolation came courtesy of Allende, who slammed past Udoh from Luciano Diaz's cross.
Nigeria with this victory boast of six points and have qualified for the second round of the competition, but will face Croatia in their third game at the Estadio Sausalito on Friday.

Bale to miss PSG clash through injury

Gareth Bale will miss Real Madrid's Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain after suffering a calf injury, the Spanish side have confirmed.

The Wales international missed three weeks of action earlier in the season with the same issue and will definitely sit out Wednesday's clash with the Ligue 1 champions.

"Following medical tests on Gareth Bale at the University Hospital Sanitas La Moraleja he has been diagnosed with an injury in the soleus muscle of his left leg. His recovery will continue to be assessed," a statement from the club read.

Bale was substituted at half-time of Real Madrid's 3-0 win over Levante after playing in both Wales' Euro 2016 qualifiers against Andorra and Bosnia-Herzegovina.

The former Tottenham star has contributed two goals and four assists in all competitions so far this season.

Godfrey Baguma has become a proud father of eight children after his wife Kate Namanda, 30, delivered a healthy baby girl. The couple now have six children together, while two others are kids from Baguma’s first unsuccessful marriage.

Sebabi, 47, got married to Kate Namanda, 30, in 2013 and she has given birth to his eighth child
The man, who suffers from an extremely rare, unknown disease, won his title of the ugliest country’s man after he took part in the contest to make money for his family. “In 2002, I was mending shoes, when some people approached me and said they had an event at which they wanted me to be a chief guest.

They took my pictures and a few days later, I saw my picture in the newspapers where I had declared myself the ugliest man alive. I was shocked and angry at the same time because I had not said so. They also told me that as a cobbler, I could not make enough money to sustain my family.
The man won his title of the ugliest country’s man in 2002.They asked me to participate in a contest, saying I would make more money since I would be a tourist attraction. I agreed, and indeed I won. That is how I got the nickname, Ssebabi, which means the ugliest of them all. Today, I feel good, about it because it is an honour.”

Godfrey and Kate live in a small house, bringing up all eight children and trying to make both ends meet, but they did not complain. Kate said: “Once you find a man you think is right for you, do not listen to what other people say. Follow your heart. Money and physical appearance should not be an issue.”
