German media believe she meant the Pacific islands of Nauru and Manus, used by Australia for asylum camps.

Combating terrorism and keeping the homeland safe- Hillary Clinton

                                                           Hillary Clinton
Radical jihadists, like so many adversaries in our history, underestimate the strength of our national character. Americans will not cower or cave. And we will not turn on each other or turn on our principles. We will defeat those who threaten us. We will keep our country safe and strong, free and tolerant. And we will always defend our friends and allies.
Hillary, December 6, 2015
If Hillary Clinton is elected president in November, it will be a historic milestone in a career already defined by firsts. She is the first and only First Lady to run for public office, the first woman to be elected senator from New York, and the first woman to advance this far in a presidential race. Clinton continues to hold the lead in a prolonged primary, despite "emailgate" revelations that she used her private email address and server while at the State Department. Those findings were confirmed in a report issued by the Inspector General in May, providing new fodder for her opponents, both Democratic and Republican. Yet she remains the presumptive Democratic contender in the elections this fall, and her unflappable and tenacious pursuit of the country's highest office keeps her at spot No. 2 on this year's list, with a clear shot at number one if she wins the nation's vote.
Part of her manifesto is tackling terrorism.According to her,
" The threat we face from terrorism is real, urgent, and knows no boundaries. Horrific attacks like the ones in Paris, Brussels, Orlando, and San Bernardino have made it all too clear: It is not enough to contain ISIS and the threat of radical jihadism—we have to defeat it."
Hillary Clinton has laid out a comprehensive plan to do that:

1. Take out ISIS’s stronghold in Iraq and Syria

We have to defeat ISIS on the battlefield by:
  • Intensifying the coalition air campaign against ISIS fighters, leaders, and infrastructure;
  • Stepping up support for local Arab and Kurdish forces on the ground and coalition efforts to protect civilians; and
  • Pursuing a diplomatic strategy aimed at resolving Syria’s civil war and Iraq’s sectarian conflict between Sunnis and Shias—both of which have contributed to the rise of ISIS.

2. Work with our allies to dismantle global terror networks

We have to stem the flow of jihadists from Europe and America to and from Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan. To that end, we must work with our allies to dismantle the global terror network that supplies radical jihadists with money, weapons, and fighters. That means:
  • Working hand in hand with European intelligence services to identify and go after enablers who help jihadists forge documents and travel undetected;
  • Targeting efforts to deal with ISIS affiliates from Libya to Afghanistan; and
  • Working with tech companies to fight jihadist propaganda online, intercept ISIS communications, and track and analyze social media posts to stop attacks—while protecting security and privacy.

3. Harden our defenses at home

We have to do more to identify and stop terrorists—including so-called “lone wolves”—from carrying out attacks in the United States, including:
  • Supporting first responders, law enforcement, and intelligence officers with the right tools, resources, intelligence, and training to prevent attacks before they happen;
  • Launching an intelligence surge to get security officials the tools they need to prevent attacks;
  • Keeping assault weapons and other tools of terror out of terrorists’ hands by allowing the FBI to stop gun sales to suspected terrorists, enacting comprehensive background checks, and keeping military-style assault weapons off our streets; and
  • Supporting law enforcement to build trustful and strong relationships with American Muslim communities. We need every American community invested in this fight, not fearful and sitting on the sidelines.

Igbo marginalisation gave rise to MASSOB – Uwazurike

                           Image result for Uwazurike
The leader of Biafra Independence movement, BIM, Chief Ralph Uwazuruike, yesterday, recalled how the absence of Igbos in the key Political appointments made by former Nigerian military Heads of State and presidents, led him to float movement for actualization of sovereign state of Biafra, MASSOB.
Uwazuruike recalled that on August 7, 1999 (when he was president of Igbo National Council Of Chief) he made public the communique of the group’s National Delegates Conference that was mandated to work out the modalities and pursue the immediate actualisation of sovereign state of Biafra based on the principle of “non- violence” adopted by the Indian people in their struggle for independence.
The Biafran nationalist leader, speaking through a member of the Biafra Elders-in-council of BIM, Mazi Chris Mocha, advised Igbo leaders, who for any reason were indisposed to lend support to this cause to stay out of it, warning that any attempt by any Igbo leader to sabotage the objective of actualising Biafra as an independent State would incur the wrath of the Igbo community.
Uwazuruike recalled that before the Obasanjo administration in the 2000s, Nigeria had been reduced diplomatically to a Hausa-Fulani country, pointing out that all the important foreign missions like those in the United States of America, Germany, China, Britain, France, Japan, Italy, Canada, South Africa, India, Brazil, etc were usually manned by them and in few instances with a sprinkle of Yoruba people. He complained that Igbo ambassadors were always posted to obscure corners of the globe like Equatorial Guinea or Mali.

THE WORD IS YOUR REFLECTION.

Image result for pastor chris oyakhilome
                                         Written by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome

But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves (James 1:22).
The Word of God is for us to live by; it’s for doing; it’s for us to live out. But some Christians are trying to “obey” the Word, and that’s where their problem is, because the Word isn’t for us to obey. In the Old Testament, God gave the children of Israel laws, commandments to obey, but they failed. So, He changed the order. He said, “...I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people” (Jeremiah 31:33).
As a result, in the New Testament, you’re not called to obey the Word, because you’re born of the Word; you’re one with the Word. The Word of God is your reflection, a mirror that shows you who you are, so that you can know and act accordingly. We hear, study, understand, and meditate on the
Word, to act accordingly.
2 Corinthians 3:18 says, “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image....” When you look into the Word, you see yourself. The Word mirrors you. For example, the Word says, “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him” (2 Corinthians 5:21). That’s not for you to “obey”; it’s simply showing you who you are: the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. It therefore makes no difference that your senses tell you otherwise; God already showed you who you are; act accordingly. That’s doing the Word: accepting, and endorsing God’s image of you, and walking in that light.
When you look in the mirror of God, which is the Word, you see the glory of God, and that’s you! The more you look into the Word, the more you become what you see in the Word; a transformation takes place in your life, from glory to glory. Hallelujah!
PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the impact of your Word in my life. Your Word is the reflection of your immense glory deposited in my spirit. As I look into that mirror, I’m transformed into the same image that I see, from glory to glory, by your Spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

MY HEARTBREAK

                  Image result for HEARTBREAK
I knew you were a lie
But I chose to believe
I saw guile in your eye
But I chose to be deceived
I knew you were just here for a while
So I'd rehearsed my 'byes' for the day you'd take your leave...
Because love may not be trusted If not once tasted
As time cannot be so kept
If not once wasted...
So I bought enough plasters and cotton wools
As I waited for you...
Then there you came!
Looking all different (except for your name)
you broke my heart to pieces
to its smallest indivisible particles
-the atoms of my physique-
I've used the first aid items I bought
and the bloodrush has stopped..
But my tear drops have filled the 69th cup
I should have bought more cups and drums

5 Strategies to Discern If Your Dream Is From God

                            Image result for discern
Do you have a dream?
Are you growing discouraged as year after year passes and it lays dormant and unaccomplished? Are you about to give up on it altogether?
Imagine how boring life would be if everything we ever dreamed of having or doing came true? What would be left to dream about?
In 2012, my husband and I went to look at a little yellow country house and a yard big enough for our kids to run around and play in.
I had always wanted such a house, although I never really believed it would be a possibility for me. But the moment I laid eyes on this house, I was in love. That was in June, by the end of September we put the key in the lock, opened the door and began moving our things in.
The process of birthing a dream can be both exhilarating and excruciating. But through it I learned a few things about dreams.

5 Things I've Learned About Dreams

1. When God gives a dream He will make it happen.
I had no idea my little yellow country house was a dream from God's heart. I thought it was dreamed up by me. But every step of the way the doors have miraculously opened, as if on their own.
Every step of the way we were prepared for the whole thing to fall through. In fact, we thought the idea that we could be homeowners was just too good to be true.
But here we are in our own home, newly renovated, and even more lovely than it was four years ago when I first laid eyes on it! And what more could we conclude other than God made this happen?
2. Hold your dreams lightly.
It is easy to clutch our dreams in a death grip, thinking that they are our and that it is up to us to make it happen. Doing this only causes deep dissatisfaction to grow in our hearts. We envision how fulfilled we will be if only our dream would come true, yet we fail to realize that fulfillment and satisfaction do not lie in our dreams, but in our decision to be content in every situation.
This is something I have made great effort to cultivate in my heart. I even blogged about it in a series called 5 Keys of Contentment. I haven't arrived yet, and I still fail in these areas, but I am finding that I am growing in contentment. When we first began inquiring about house—and all through this journey we've been on in buying it—I told my husband, "No matter what happens, I am content. I love living here in our apartment. I have friends here and everything is nearby."
I held my dream lightly by focusing on the good things we have now. I had a long list of "pros" on both sides, which helped in case the house fell through. I knew I would still be happy. I would just keep on dreaming!
3. You need to know when to fight for your dream and when to let go.
One thing that stood out to us was that we didn't have to fight for the house. It has been the easiest and most painless process we've ever encountered! There are dreams that seemingly come true on their own. And yet there are those that require us to have courage and stamina in fighting to make them happen.
But we have to be discerning. Sometimes we fight to make dreams come true that were not meant to come true. Sometimes the dreams we are fighting for are self-serving dreams that we think will elevate us, make us feel better about ourselves, promote us, and stroke our egos. Such dreams are never of God.
It takes great humility to recognize this and let those dreams go. But when we do, we will find great freedom because dreams like this will only hold hostage the ones that God has for us. Learn to fight for God's dreams, while letting go of our own selfish ones so we are free to accomplish the ones God has truly given!
4. You may have to let your dream die so it can live
Does that statement sound confusing to you? Like an oxymoron? It's not. Jesus described a seed that, when planted in the ground, dies so that it can live. Sometimes God plants a dream in our heart. We cultivate it, water it and even pray about it. And then we watch it die. This can be very disillusioning!
Do not lose heart or grow angry. Sometimes God lets a dream die, so that we cease being possessive of it. It's not our dream, after all. It's God's dream! It's His plan. Sometimes God will let it die so that we pry our fingers off of it and let it go. In doing so, we give God the freedom to let that dream live as it should live. Quite possibly the path we were taking to make that dream come true was a wrong path, or maybe it was wrong timing. Maybe we need to include others in that dream, or a different set of "others."
Has your dream from God died? Don't give up. Keep praying about it. In the meantime, let God help you make it His and not yours; and let Him renew that vision in your heart the way He created that dream to be.
5. Never stop dreaming
Never stop dreaming. Ever. Even those dreams that may seem silly and insignificant. Even the ridiculous ones you know will never come true. Dreams fuel passion and drive. Sometimes the ridiculous dreams are what give foundation to the "real" ones down the road. Never stop dreaming. Never let your imagination die. Never starve creativity. Allow God to use it, hone it and cause it to grow.
