Putin Rebukes U.S. for Abandoning Values and promoting immorality

President Vladimir Putin has Rebukes America, a Once-Christian Nation by Saying that by Forsaking Traditional Christian Values and Putting Same-sex Marriage on the Same Level as Traditional Marriage with a Man, Woman, and Children, the Nation is Forsaking God and Believing in Satan and Will be Led into Degradation and Chaotic Darkness.
At the height of the Cold War, it was common for American conservatives to label the officially atheist Soviet Union a “godless nation.”
More than two decades on, history has come full circle, as the Kremlin and its allies in the Russian Orthodox Church hurl the same allegation at the West.
“Many Euro-Atlantic countries have moved away from their roots, including Christian values,” Russian President Vladimir Putin said in a recent keynote speech. “Policies are being pursued that place on the same level a multi-child family and a same-sex partnership, a faith in God and a belief in Satan. This is the path to degradation.”
In his state of the nation address in mid-December, Mr. Putin also portrayed Russia as a staunch defender of “traditional values” against what he depicted as the morally bankrupt West. Social and religious conservatism, the former KGB officer insisted, is the only way to prevent the world from slipping into “chaotic darkness.”
As part of this defense of “Christian values,” Russia has adopted a law banning “homosexual propaganda” and another that makes it a criminal offense to “insult” the religious sensibilities of believers.

Ukraine officer mocks judges in final appearance

A Ukrainian officer has defied a Russian court trying her over the killing of two Russian journalists, vowing to continue a hunger strike and making an obscene gesture at judges.
Nadia Savchenko, a pilot who served as an infantry volunteer fighting rebels, was making her closing statement.
She denies directing mortar fire at the Russian journalists in June 2014.
She says she has not had food and drink since Friday.
Speaking Ukrainian, she mocked the judges in the court in the south Russian town of Donetsk, saying they proved that Russians were "fascists".

Kenya signs loan with Japan for 140 MW plant

Kenya and Japan on Wednesday signed a 46 billion yen ($408 million) loan agreement to go towards building a 140 megawatt (MW) geothermal power plant that is expected to be operational within the next two years, the two governments said.
The plant, know as Olkaria V, will be built by Kenya Electricity Generating Company (KenGen), which has said it expects to begin construction in July, with the plant arriving on the grid by the end of 2018.
The plant is part of KenGen's plans to add 720 MW of electricity - most of it from geothermal sources - to the grid between this year and 2020, at a cost of just over $2 billion."The credit we have received today will fund the construction of a power generation plant to tap on the vast geothermal steam at Olkaria Geothermal field for generation of additional 140 MW electricity to be put to the national grid," National Treasury Cabinet Secretary Henry Rotich said after signing the agreement. The Olkaria field is in Kenya's Rift Valley.

13 Signs that You Are Losing Your Husband

Waiting till your husband starts sleeping around to connect to him may be too late. There are early signs a man will give if he is not satisfied with you. If you discover them in your marriage, quickly take action before the man becomes totally uninterested in you. These signs include:
1.His Silence. He suddenly talks less to you or your children. He answers your questions with a mono-syllable, will not really greet you. If you do greet him, he will answer casually.
2.Your Words Irritate Him. If you play or talk to him, he feels you are disturbing him. He doesn’t like being ‘disturbed’ when at home. He will only keep to himself.
3.He spends longer time outside than at home. He prefers staying at office, church, with friends than to be at home even on weekends and public holidays.
4.He doesn’t laugh at your jokes. Nothing you say amuses him even if it makes others fall into fits of laughter.
5.He separates rooms. He moves out of your bedroom or he may ask you to move out with excuses that he wants to have time to pray think or meditate.
6.He avoids praying with you. You’ve been praying together before now but he suddenly avoids praying with you. He just loves to do his own thing.
7.He doesn’t play with you. He stops playing with you or crack jokes as he does to other.
8.He becomes unpredictable. You can’t predict him, you don’t know his mind, and you don’t know his schedules.
9.No more caring. He doesn’t care about your welfare and that of the children anymore. He becomes non-challant to the welfare of the home.
10. He becomes difficult. He becomes difficult to relate with. Little things annoy him, and nothing you do seems to satisfy him or make him happy.
11. He complains about you and the children a lot. He complains practically about everything. If your soup has much pepper, then it is salty, if it is not too watery, it definitely is too thick.
12. He rejects food regularly. He regularly leaves his supper untouched, or rejects food in fits of anger.
13. Frequent quarrels. He picks quarrel too early, fights you about everything or shouts at the slightest provocation.

Navy to establish operational base in Lake Chad

As part of efforts to rid the country of terrorists, the Nigerian Navy (NN) has commenced plans for the establishment of a Forward Operation Base (FOB) in Lake Chad.
This disclosure was made on Tuesday in Lagos, during a training seminar organised by the Naval Training Command (NAVTRAC) themed ‘the future of professional training in the Nigerian Navy’.
In his opening remark, the Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) Vice Admiral Ibok Ette-Ibas noted that conventional security challenges have forced the navy to move towards adopting new strategies.
Using the navy’s participation in the northeast operation against terrorist sect, Boko Haram, as well as the force’ battle against militants and vandals in the creeks as examples, Ibas said he directed a review of the navy’s training curriculum to address the challenges.
According to him, “For over five years we have relied majorly on the Regional Maritime Awareness Capability (RMAC) that gives us an eye over the horizon.
“We have commenced the process of emplacing a more robust surveillance system, FALCON EYE, which when completed, will provide surveillance on the entire 200 nautical miles of our Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ).
“This will therefore boost our ability to contain the notorious maritime challenges that we presently have out there.

South Africa is Giant of Africa, not Nigeria

I don't mean to be rude but being big does not mean that you are powerful. Let us state the facts. Nigeria is the biggest country in Africa in terms of population. South Africa is different case. The only thing i as a South African is waiting for is to see Nigeria break into pieces and you will see the greatest potentials of South Africa because once Nigeria is no more, you will see the real giant of Africa.
It is a deceptive appellation that Nigerias has worn this with pride. Political leaders, diplomats and commentators have over the years described Nigeria as the “giant of Africa”. Its size is intimidating. Its population surpasses other sub-Saharan African countries combined but is Nigeria the giant of Africa?
Nigeria is a very unique country. So also are the citizens. They are regarded, all over the world, as very special. If you are a Nigerian and in doubt of the last sentence, I implore that on your next holiday, pick up your green passport and make Indonesia or China your choice

Let us not be sentimental.
Nigeria is a unique country with a unique people who do not know their left from their right.
South African economy is bigger than the economy of West,North,East and Central Africa combined. If you can go to the Wall Street journal you'll see what I'm talking about. At least Egypt comes a little bit closer but they still have a long way to go. If Nigeria want to be an African giant, they must recruit their neighbours and form one country.Nigeria is not leaving in peace because Nigerians are corrupt even to their children,so its the name that Nigeria has, nothing else. This does not mean that we don't like our good old friends (Nigerians). In fact South Africa and Nigeria are the only African countries that the West are afraid of so,once Nigeria breaks,it only remain South Africa.
I have close to a hundred point to prove that Nigeria is finished and South Africa emergence has statred but i will give you just one point.
As of 2006 South African GDP = 255,155,Nigeria = 115,350.Imagine what its going to be now.
Take a look at electricity,Nigeria is struggling to get just 4,000 mega for the whole country while South Africa is trying her best to reach 55,000 Mega Watts in December 2016.
As at September 2,2015,South Africa reached 44,262 megawatts and we are planning to improve.Let me stop here so that you can punder on these things.
Who is really the Giant of Africa?answer this in your hearts.
