419(SCAMMING) major tricks you should be careful of

 
A lot of people explore the various opportunities that are available in Nigeria which usually cuts across getting a job or engaging in a business. Some people however have perfected the art of duping and scamming people in the city.Every day men and women in Nigeria,Africa and around the world are tricked.The more people are trying to avoid getting caught in the web of scammers, the more intelligent they get. The scam, popularly called 419 which is a section of the Nigerian constitution that deals with fraud is very rampant in Lagos and you need to be smart not to fall for them.
 Here are FIVE 419 tricks you must be wary of:

1. Visa Lottery
 

 The desire to travel out of Nigeria in search of greener pasture is a weakness which fraudsters prey on. Visa lottery is one of the opportunities available to travel to America and Europe. These fraudsters open fake websites or adverts for Visa openings asking people to apply and pay a token. At the end, the 419ers don’t even have any visa to provide.

2. Money Doubling
 This trick involves being asked to provide any amount of money with the promise that the money would be doubled. The elaborate drama involves the supposed money doubler ‘successfully’ doubling the money provided by random persons. The idea is to get you interested especially if you are the greedy type. If you put in a little money and you get double the amount, you are likely to try with a bigger sum which is when you will be scammed.

 3.Winning Number
 With the different promotions being done by companies to reward their customers, scammers are keying into this scheme to defraud people in Lagos. Text messages are sent to random numbers that they are the lucky winners of large amounts of money in the on-going promo of a company. A phone number is provided for you to call in order to claim your money. That is where the scamming begins as you are asked to pay some amount of money for the money to be transferred to you.

4. Job
With a lot of people looking for jobs in Lagos, this scam is not easy to detect. Lagosians lose their guards when there is the offer of a job and might not take the time to find out how credible the job is. This scam involve job seekers who were selected usually without applying for that job being asked to submit their Cv and some processing fee. The processing fee is not likely to end until the job seeker realises that he has been putting water into a basket.

5. Foreign Relative
 This scam also involves mobile communication but unlike the Winning Number” which begins with a text message, this scam is initiated with a phone call from a person who claims to be a distant relative and is living in one foreign country. The scammer then milks you a story about his decision to send you some goods and that you need to send some money to an account before the goods can be cleared. As soon as you fail to detect the scam, you are definitely going to pay a lot for your mistake.

Planning is a major criteria for success in life, in fact someone said if you fail to plan, you are planning to fail. There is always a plan for every building that’s about to be constructed, an architect never goes to site without a building plan. Can you imagine if an architect goes to a construction site and instructs the brick layers to start laying blocks and casting concrete without any detailed plan on paper, then after some time he says no, break all of it up and start laying blocks in another direction. At the end of the day, there will be a lot of waste, from materials to resources, time, etc.that is how most people live their lives.

Planning is winning. If you don’t have plans or goals, you wont be able to measure success.After you capture a vision, begin to set goals and also develop a clear cut plan. The next thing to do is to move, take action. Isaiah 40:31 in the bible states it all, "But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."

My emphasis is on mounting up with wings as eagles after you get direction and capacity. Nothing will move until you move.

In fact there can be a lasting success because if you mistakenly succeed without planning, you will soon crash by mistake too.

Many years ago, I had no clue of where I was going to in life and so I assumed that every road will lead me to success. Interestingly, if you don’t stand for anything, you will fall for everything. I was just wandering through life instead of being a wonder to my world. The very day I captured a vision for my life, I set goals and drew out a plan. Before I knew it, everything began to cooperate with what I saw. My association began to change, what I did with time began to change and before long, I began to realize my dreams and vision.

THE MAKING OF A TRUE FATHER

Yes, every community is in need of a true father. Every home, every neighborhood, every clan, every village, every town or country needs him. When a true father is on ground, the entire land rejoices, for every soul in that land is touched by his true love, his handiwork and his care.

A true father will not allow his girls to be kidnapped by terrorists, his people surely looks up to him because he is a leader indeed, not a rider.

Shall we take a look at the first father the scriptures recorded in genesis chapter 2? While Adam was yet alone, without a wife, he was formed man.

God formed him, his appearances on the planet earth was never a product of accident. He was carefully and wonderfully made.

God was confident because it was this man that God formed he put in charge of the garden, the home.

See, an uninformed man has no business leading the home, talkless of the nation.

When a man makes himself available to God, he will be inspired, empowered and enthroned. Everyone and everything around him will feel his impact.

There will always no cries here or there. Anything he says or does will prosper, he will be manly and fatherly maximized. He will be there for his home, his people and the land of his nativity will bless him singing his praise.

Notice that it takes a maximized manhood to produce a maximized fatherhood, no shut cut. Did I hear you say the equation is balanced? Yes, you are right. Without a maximized youth who had yielded himself or herself to the divine processing, there can never be a man indeed- a maximized man.

Psalm 119 ; 9 shows us in the way to be formed of God. Taking heed to instructions, directions and the inspirations of the holy spirit through the word of God.

My prayer is that God should give us  a father indeed, in the land, even in Nigeria. By the time true fathers are here, the power supply will not be outaged, we shall not be drinking well water all over, the school system will function, and all shall be well.

Terrible Risky Mistakes Men Make in their marriage

 1. Not showing empathy.

 In the bedroom, some men forget or, worse, haven’t figured out that their wives often need more than they do to get turned on.Affection, making her feel loved and needed,that’s basic for her to feel aroused,Older men usually catch on, but young men are especially unaware of this.Men perceive sex as a sufficient means of being close, of having a connection But women want a connection prior to having sex.

 4. Listening the wrong way.
 Listening does not mean nodding along as your wife explains what is bothering her and you, all the while, are thinking up ways to fix the problem.Men tend to analyze situations and generate options,and That’s guaranteed to make your wife go ballistic.

5. Shelving your feelings.

Listening to your wife talk about her feelings is essential. So is talking about your own.

Many men, however, think they need to hide their feelings or risk being seen as weak. That’s a mistake because not sharing your emotions can be a danger signal for your wife.

6. Going on a power trip.

 Being a man does not mean being in charge,but many men don’t get that.They try to get what they want by being dominant. But it’s not about making demands or trying to overpower her. Women will pull away from that.power position that men often put themselves in essentially negates the relationship, which must be reciprocal, supportive, and caring because Our best selves emerge in the context of our relationships with others and not as an independent entity,

THE TIME IS NOW:IMPEACHMENT IS INEVITABLE

Nigeria in some time past, so many of our politicians thinks they are above the law, therefore doing all sort criminal act, looting of public funds, and making their personal ambitions more important to them than the blood of the citizen.

After being Summoned to appear before the Code of Conduct Tribunal(CCT) in the investigation of some baffling inconsistencies in his declaration of assets, he refuse, dismisses the charges as false and frivolous, awards himself an acquittal, and seeks a court to block the Tribunal’s proceedings.

If found guilty as charged,Saraki risks removal from the Senate. A long and painful trial could be in the offing. That, of course, is what his set of enemies,many of them,within his own party, the All Progressives Congress had long wished for since June 9, when Saraki pulled the rug from under the party,with the support of the Peoples Democratic Party senators,to emerged as President of the eighth Senate.

Apart from saraki issue being political, If all of his asset have been acquired in a more truthful and just manner there's no need of hiding his asset, most of these politicians have robbed the nation,yet hide under political party to cover their shame. It will be better for the senate president to resign peacefully before the tribunal helps in forfeiting his seat has the senate leader.

Today judgement in the tribunal will determine if our judiciary is of the standard required, saraki must face the law With no form of partiality, this must serve as a lesson to all other politicians who have diverted public funds to their account.

As all nigerians are waiting for the outcome today, I urge all nigerians to support the fight against corruption.

I read that 50 Senators want the Senate President to stay on, they are urging and nudging him on, they argue that the goings on at the CCT is a witch hunt, so Saraki can flaunt and disobey the Laws of the Land. Sad!

He can undermine Court summons, he goes to the Court of Appeal to vacate an Order of the Code of Conduct Tribunal, gets a NO from the Court of Appeal alas unknown to him the times have CHANGED. Sadly, Lawmakers have become Law-breakers.

Some defend this because they consider the process a witch hunt. Wait a minute, is the witch hunt or ghost hunt responsible for the anticipatory declaration of properties that were not owned by Bukola Saraki as his? Was the witch hunt responsible for the corruption for which he is charged? Was the witch hunt the reason the House Rules were forged? If his hands are clean would there be a charge? Why is he scared of the Legal Process?

This generation must cease to applaud the political games of politicians and raise our collective moral margin. Witch hunt or manhunt, it must be COUNTRY FIRST, let Saraki resign  so he can face the Courts and tackle those witch-hunting him, governance must not suffer because he must remain Senate President, and by the way the integrity of this Senate is on a nose dive.
