Against the backdrop of stereotypical negative perception of Nigeria, the film introduces global audiences to Nigeria in an enriching and empathetic manner.
"State of Expectation" is a 76 minute documentary feature film that tracks the activities of a Nigerian politician. Filmed over the course of six years, the film depicts the efforts Nigerians are making towards rebuilding their environment. Amidst criticisms, natural disasters and a challenging democratic process, Nigerians demonstrate a new face of leadership in a country where politics is synonymous with corruption and ineffectiveness.
