KEEP FIT, DANCE WITH KAFFY

                             

A wide range of activities has been used to promote fitness and healthy living.  But none of these offers the level that can be achieved through Dance activities without leaving a side effect.
                                          
Kafayat Oluwatoyin Shafau better known as ‘Kaffy’ is a Nigerian youth from the city of Lagos who has a great passion for setting a goal and seeing it through is the CEO of IMAGNETO DANCE COMPANY. She is a Fitness Coach,Guinness world record holder,motivator,Workaholic,Dance Choreographer and Dance ArtisteShe is also a Mother. This has led her to be one of the most influential youth of the country. Her drive towards success despite great setbacks in her life contributed immensely in various activities she has been involved in.

                                                     
Her educational background though very bumpy saw her through primary, secondary and university. She went to Chrisland Primary School, Opebi Lagos
- Led her school’s match-past team throughout her stay.
- Led the cultural dance troop
- Lead dancer for the school first ballet show in Unilag.

                                   
Went to Coker Secondary School, Orile Iganmu where she Head the national conservation club,represented the school in JETS science competitions,Represented the school in inter-school debate competitions and member of the school’s soccer team and went on to get her Diploma in Data Processing (Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye).

 
She founded the female basketball team and also instructs aerobics classes for the school’s lecturers and students.
As a professional,she had to do a lot of jobs to make ends meet and keep herself busy while waiting to enter school and even to sustain while in school.
She was inspired to help other people with weight problem after she successfully dealt with her weight issues,She taught at the stadium for free for three years and became a personal trainer for a lot of people.
She has trained athletes and basket-ballers and Played basketball in Lagos for sea rovers basketball team.She has also played basketball for Ogun state and captained it.

Her passion for dance is inborn. Her urge for being different has revolutionalized dance since she started professionally in 2002 within the span of 3months and today she stands as a role model for a lot of youth not just in dance but for what her personality represents which determination, dedication and commitment in what one endeavours as long as it has a positive impact to the society we live in.

Her personality has positively contributed to the entertainment industry. She has performed and coordinated various events to name a few:

• Her most recent and remarkable feat was when she led a group of 29 Nigerians in breaking the GUINESS WORLD RECORD for the longest dance party. She and her team broke the existing record of 52 hrs 4mins at 53 hrs 40mins.
  CHOREOGRAPHED MALTA GUINNESS LOW SUGAR WORKOUT ROUTINE which she taught the ENGLISH PREMIERSHIP TEAM ARSENAL FC and is vurrently touring the session across the country.July - September 2012

Her company IMAGNETO DANCE COMPANY won AFRIMMA AWARDS 2014 for best dance group category in Dallas Texas.
