Between Coquelin and Pogba:Comparing them last weekend

It was a weekend of contrasting fortunes for Francis Coquelin and Paul Pogba, as one marshalled his team’s midfield to a comfortable victory over Hull, whilst the other’s highlight of the game was an extraordinarily terrible pass to the referee.
Coquelin, who joined Arsenal on a free transfer in 2008, broke through into the first team after a loan with Charlton Athletic and excelled in the holding midfield role.
Pogba, on the other hand, left United for Turin in 2012, returning this summer for a world record transfer fee of £89 million but has so far failed to impress since a dismal display against Hull.
Coquelin, amongst the likes of Etienne Capoue, Idrissa Gueye and Jordan Henderson who have all outshone the Frenchman.
A first look at Pogba’s performance today on statistics is proving all his numerous critics quite right indeed.
 Paul Pogba's game by numbers:

Pogba Vs Watford
75% pass accuracy
2 shots
0 chances created
0 take-ons
0 interceptions

 Francis Coquelin vs. Hull City:

Passes 98
Completed passing accuracy 98%
Ball recoveries 7
Tackles won 4
Interceptions 4
Coquelin had an outstanding game against the Hornets despite being a controversial inclusion.
Granit Xhaka was benched yet again in favour of Coquelin, but the Frenchman proved his doubters wrong with a commanding performance on the pitch.
