Kaduna State Government has banned the Shiite Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), saying it was a security threat in the state.
While issuing an order declaring IMN also known as Shiite Muslims in the state an unlawful society, the government said an order declaring the action was taken to preserve peace and security in the state.
It said it was also to ensure that all persons and organisations are guided by lawful conduct with due allegiance to the Nigerian state and its constitution.
