Nasarawa Moves Against Illegal Occupation Of Landed Property

The Nasarawa State House of Assembly said that it would enact a law to prohibit forceful entry and illegal occupation of landed properties in the interest of peace and development of the state.Alhaji Ibrahim Balarabe-Abdullahi stated this in Lafia after Mr. Daniel Ogah- Ogazi (APC-Kokona East) presented a bill for a law to Prohibit Forceful Entry and Illegal Occupation of Landed properties, Violent and fraudulent Conduct in Relation to Landed Properties in Nasarawa State.
Balarabe-Abdullahi said that the bill if passed into law would tackle the issue of illegal occupation of landed properties and would also promote peace in the state and the country at large.

“A bill for a law to Prohibit Forceful Entry and Illegal Occupation of Landed properties, Violent and fraudulent Conduct in Relation to Landed Properties in Nasarawa state  and matters connected thereto passed first reading”.
The sponsor of the bill, Mr. Ogah-Ogazi (APC-Kokona East), moved a motion for the bill to scale through first reading.
Mr. Muluku Ibrahim (PDP-Nassarawa Eggon East) seconded the motion.
