The APC in Anambra State,Nigeria has commenced the registration and revalidation
of members with a promise to allow a level playing ground for all aspirants.
The party said that it plans to register between 750 and one million
card-carrying members during the exercise.

Mr. Chris Akomas, stated this in an interview with newsmen at Umunya, Oyi Local
Government Area on Wednesday.
He spoke on the heels of Senator Andy Uba, representing Anambra South
Senatorial Zone decamping to APC and registering in Uga Ward.

Obidigbo, said that the party had worked out a system to manage both its old
and new members.
“We have come to make it easy and possible for all calibres of people,
both the old and new in the party to work together as a family, especially in
the South East zone”.
“Change is taking root in the country, we want to ensure that the members
we have exists and are focused and committed. It is an opportunity to up the
tempo and open the gateway for the South East geopolitical zone to take her
rightful place in the scheme of things in the country,” he said.
In a remark, Obidigbo described the party as “the right place to be.”
He
said the South East region had been politically shortchanged in the scheme of
things in the country, and urged the people of the zone to turn out en mass to
