Petrol in Nigeria Still Sells At N130

Fuel still sold at N130 per litre in Zamfara State yesterday despite the Federal Government directive to filling stations in the country to revert pump price from N87 to N86.5 per litre. Almost all the fuel marketers were yet to comply with the new directive.
Investigations reveals that fuel stations in Gusau, the state capital and its environs apart from a few Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) mega stations, most of the major marketers refused to open their filling stations.
It was also learnt that majority of the independent marketers that opened their filling stations were still selling the petroleum product at N130 per litre.
