I am sad.I decided to use this title above because one of my followers from India sent me an article and i cried.
Imagine,an Indian is telling me what i know a bit about my nation but for him to now know more than me is worrisome.
Nigeria is endowed with large deposites of mineral resources, located in everypart of Nigeria but we only focus on oil.that is a lamentation.
We are a religios nation but Poverty in the midst of abundance is an irony characterizing my Nigeria.
Nigeria is a nation blessed with human and natural resources but where do we stand?
If the United States of America have everything we have,America is made.Economists, geologists and surveyors all over the world have come to NIGERIA and they have long agreed that under the Nigerian soil are wealth and riches untold But majority of Nigerians are wallowing in poverty because they are blind to se that they are standing on top of a gold mine.. The Nigerian Extractive Industries and Transparency Initiative, NEITI report suggests that there are about 40 different kinds of solid minerals and precious metals buried in Nigerian soil waiting to be exploited. The commercial value of Nigeria's solid minerals has been estimated to run into hundreds of trillions of dollars, with 70 per cent of these buried in the bowels of Northern Nigeria.
Here is a list of the Natural resources in Nigeria and where they can be found.
