Nigeria based logistics and distribution firm Courier Plus
has opened a Nairobi branch as it mulls expanding to other countries in the
region to sate the growing demand for logistical services.
The company is targeting key sectors including financial,
mining, manufacturing, telecoms, pharmaceutical, tea and apparel industries
with its services.
Courier Plus has a presence in more than 200 countries where
it offers goods in transit insurance, delivery services, and packaging and air,
road and sea freight services.
The firm has already put in place machinery to carry out
large-scale inland projects, for instance, those involving transportation of
huge consignment of products and materials.
