Actress Amber Tamblyn was spurred by Donald Trump’s recently
released 2005 hot mic video to reveal her own story of sexual assault, and now
she’s mocking the GOP presidential nominee in a “Lip Sync Battle.”
Tamblyn, sporting a business suit, heavy orange makeup and a
Trump-inspired wig, is seen gyrating next to America Ferrera in a new clip from
the Spike series, exclusively obtained by ITK.
Tamblyn, a 33-year-old Hillary Clinton supporter, thrusts
herself against her laughing “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” co-star to
Color Me Badd’s “I Wanna Sex You Up” before doing the running man dance move.
She’s then seen attempting to twerk, sticking her tongue out in the process.
Ferrera is also an outspoken Clinton supporter and appeared
onstage at the Democratic National Convention in July.
The “Lip Sync Battle” performance, which was filmed in
August, airs less than two weeks after Tamblyn criticized Trump in an Instagram
post for lewd remarks about women he made during an “Access Hollywood” taping
in 2005.
Tamblyn also went after Trump's most recent debate
performance, during which many thought he lurked and stalked Clinton on stage,
in an op-ed piece published Friday by Glamour magazine.
“What was supposed to be an evening of conversation about
ideas and solutions for the country between Mr. Trump and Hillary Clinton
turned into an emotional beating before it had even begun,” she wrote.
The full "Lip Sync" episode featuring Tamblyn and
Ferrera airs Wednesday at 9 p.m. (EST) on Spike.
