The Black Race, but not in the race.

                               
I'm really sick and tired of hearing Black people everywhere in the world, especially in Africa and North America blaming the White man and Slavery for his lot and destiny. For how long are we going to keep blaming the past for everything we are in the present? I strongly think that the Black man has a problem with growing up and manning up. We have whined and sulked for too long a time over the centuries. It's time to grow up and be in the race.
The ones that make me sick the most are Black/African Americans. Most of them are still living in the plantation. I'd call it the 'mental plantation'. They still think like negroes because they expect the Slave master to provide necessaries for them. Afterall, it is their right. They think that all of White America owes them everything. They think that life owes them everything. They live with an entitlement complex unknown to other races. This is why crime rate, substance abuse, single parenthood, incarceration etc are highest among Blacks. They fail to snap out of the plantation mindset and wake up to the new world.
Blacks (Africans and African Americans) were NOT the only people to be scourged by commercial slavery in world history. If you read the oldest surviving literature in history, particularly the Bible, you'd be confronted with a modest list of peoples subjected to the scourge of slavery. I'll mention the obvious one.
The Jews were slaves in Egypt for not less than 400 years. They were slaves in Babylon (present day Syria) for not less than 70 years. They were under the imperial control of Rome for decades. Yet, despite these arduous Odysseys, Jews have gone ahead to become leaders in every field of endeavour known to Man. They are Nobel Laureates, Inventors, Captains of Industries and the best in Military Intelligence.
I don't hear the Jews play the blame game and using that as an excuse to demand pity from the rest of the world. They didn't even ask for fairness because they have never been treated fairly (not less than 6million of them were decimated by Hitler), yet they are in the race and they are in it to win. And winning they are.
But no, not the Black man. Everyone must pity him. Blacks love pity parties. We did not go through a quarter of the dehumanization the Jews went through and we are still asking for everything on a platter of gold rather than go to work and mine the gold. The slavery on the entire continent of Africa only lasted for 245 years. Let's be magnanimous and say it lasted 300 years, it s still child's play when compared with the Jews.
Maybe there is a curse hanging over the Black Continent. Maybe not. Maybe we are just lazy and wanting free meals. Even in AD2016, the most populous Black Country in the world (my home Nigeria) still goes to the West with a Wish List of requests! Can you imagine that?
The problem is so bad that most African Americans would get all riled up if you even come close to suggest that they shouldn't complain. They'd literally call for your head. Complaining is all they know to do. Blaming it all on Slavery.
They said some Jews once derided Blacks for knowing nothing except having sex and making babies. As harsh as that may sound, there is an element of truth in it. Moreover, who else is better suited to call Blacks out if not those who have suffered and endured what Blacks suffered and endured and still came out better? Again, they suffered more than Blacks.
The melanin-rich race must not forget the past, but it must not dwell on it either. It must use it as an opportunity to prove that bitter can become better. So far, to be candid, I don't see any progression in the right direction yet for the Black race. Surely not yet in the race.
