Where do we go from here?

Image result for the nigerian dream
The elders use to say that When the monkey leaves the jungle and goes into the ocean to be swimming in the ocean, and the fish too leaves the ocean to now enter into the jungle,to be jumping on tress, then that is destiny suicide.Nigerian Youths are on the journey to destiny suicide
Recently,i was shocked and disciplined by the victory of Emmanuel Macron who became the president of france,so as I write this post, decide your next action.
I believe that there are youths reading this blog
Nigeria is a great land of diverse cultures and people, a land filled with Milk and Honey, like the cannan Land, the most populous black nation in the world, the most religious and with large mass of land, blessed with Oil and various National Resources and the greatest Resource, the Human Resource…but cursed with Political Goliaths and Pharaohs and old dead heads as leaders becaus the youths have refused to wake up from their sleep.
Without the end of corruption and without youth empowerment, Nigeria becomes a failed state, it won’t take another Fela Anikulapo Kuti or another Great Activist to do it, but You and I, because, even the anti-graft bodies cannot put an end to it because they themselves are corrupt. Fela Anikulapo Kuti, the man that tried to do something about corruption through his music, though he was politically motivated was hewed down by the same corrupt politicians that used him to achieve their political aim.

Someone once asked me what lies ahead of the Nigerian Youth? and I said More Unemployment, if not high rate of poverty, and even worse government except we put an end to all the child play and lies from our politicians.
When I voiced this out on facebook, I was accused of being a pessimist, Not that I don’t believe in the Nigerian dream but change is the pathway of achieving the Nigerian dream…If possible,a bloody revolution.
I said Change.
If we don't change our mindset as youths, the future is not sure.
At the moment,I live at Abule Egba, Lagos State, South-West of Nigeria and it is sad to say that the typical young person in the state sees politicians as their success model. It is indeed baffling and sad.
Let me put this straight on record that for Nigeria to move forward,we don’t need peaceful discussion but violence.I do not have any issue with politicians or anyone involved in politics yet when a Nigerian youth is asked, “What do you do for a living?” and he replies, “I am a politician” something is fundamentally wrong, and unfortunately, the youths are now going in the direction of the elders.Don't they know that politicians are liars? Look at the majority of our streets, and you will realize that they are littered by Area boys known as Street Urchins. But where do we go from here?

To make matters worse, the Nigerian youths have become a dangerous political tool in the hands of politicians
Look at these statistics:
40% OF THE NIGERIAN YOUTH = Believe fraud (Yahoo Plus) / looting of government funds is their easiest way to wealth (Going into politics for the sake of looting government funds) and other dubious means to wealth…
25% OF THE NIGERIAN YOUTH = Believe travelling abroad for greener pastures is their easiest way to wealth, thereby causing capital flight.
20% OF THE NIGERIAN YOUTH = Believe Education is their easiest way to wealth
(Due to lack of job/Unemployment after schooling, this spot soon drops below)
10% OF THE NIGERIAN YOUTH = Believes a change or rather being employed/ starting out as an entrepreneur is the easiest way to wealth (This group’s ratio soon goes down due to economic sabotage or Lack of Funds to manage the business)
5% OF THE NIGERIAN YOUTH = Believes in the Nigerian Dream, a dream that one day Nigeria will have a place for them too (some in this group are graduates, secondary school leavers etc) but they have this conviction of the Nigerian dream and they ignore all the evil means to wealth and the cleave to the Nigerian dream…..So where do we go from here?

The Youths are the most neglected group in this country, benefitting virtually nothing other than being used and dumped by officials of the same government that has impoverished their parents.
The youths in South Africa played a dominant role in the dismantling of Apartheid. So great a force were they that their government found it hard to silence and disband them, or infiltrate their ranks. In the United States of America, the youth-dominated Southern Christian Leadership Conference, SCLC, of Martin Luther King Jr. played a pivotal role in initiating the civil rights movement. The youth in both countries had a vision, were committed to it, and brought it to fruition.
Nigerian youths are currently at a cross-roads because many of them are sleeping and do not want to wake up from their sleep.Where do we go from here?

A Nigerian political party is shouting “Change” but when you look at the Slogan closely,it is as if they are shouting "Chains".Just view our nation now in every aspect and you will see that Nigeria is in chains.
Stop shouting change when you are a slave inside your mind.the wine inside you is stinking so don't decieve urself.Slaves to tell freeborns to change.it is the other way round.

When you change your mentality to help and build our nation, you are building a great future for yourself and those around you, even your unborn children.no matter how handsome, good looking, wealthy and talented you are,if you dont contribute to the betterment of your society, irrespective of your person, the society will work against that person.it is like being very rich and healthy but living in a dirty house.sooner or later, the dirts will catch u with him and he may become very sick.
I ask this question again,Where do we go from here?

I Remain Yours
